On the outside I had it all together
But deep down, I was abandoning myself to please others.
I was always trying to get it right, to help others, to please them. But in trying to hard so make others happy, I lost myself.
Instead of standing in my power, I showed anger, mistrust & distance in my relationships. I really wanted a loving relationship, but I wanted men to jump through hoops to prove they loved me - AND - I chose men who couldn't love me in a healthy way.
It's all I knew.
It was recipe for heart break, and I didn't even know I was doing it; I certainly didn't know how to break out out of the cycle of attracting emotionally unavailable men.
I thought I was a powerful person, but instead I was simply guarded. I later came to discover that my open heart and intuition was what gave me feminine power.
Through my challenges I proved to myself over and over again 'Love isn't available to me' by my powerless choices. And I believed this lie to be true.
Being hurt in the past, meant I carried a hidden shame. I didn't want people to think I was weak so I didn't talk about how hurt I felt inside, but it ate me up that I couldn't create the love I desired. I was wearing a mask, like many of us do, to appear like all is well, despite knowing deep down I needed healing.
At times, out of my own naievety & confusion I had let people use me, I crossed my own boundaries and as a result my self esteem suffered.
In 2015 I downloaded a number of transmissions from the Goddesses.

These transmissions worked through my physical, emotional and spiritual bodies to heal me at a deep level. They taught me to stand in my power, honour my sexuality, assert my boundaries & let go of the pain of my past so my heart could be free to love again.
